A short story of our success

Polish industry of the 1990s had to adjust to market economy. That process required restructuring and solving a number of problems. Most companies of that time were managed in a way which did not allow competing in the free market. Thanks to released creativity and enterprise of Poles all those hardline companies were substituted with thousands of private projects. One of them was Inwit Armatura, which was founded in 1989 in Ksawerów.

Since the very beginning of its existence, Inwit has been producing steel flanges for piping. Its experienced staff in cooperation with one of the largest in Poland bases of standards, excellent quality of produced products and being open to customers, first let the company go through dynamically changing market of the 1990s and then stabilize and develop.

Joining the European Union marked a great shift in Polish economy. Since the accession, foreign companies have had the chance to invest safely in our country, at the same time creating new jobs, making the economy more competitive and setting new standards in dealing with customers. One of such investors has been Dr Manfred Geldbach, and to be more precise his Geldbach Gruppe. In 2005 together with Mr Ireneusz Czarnecki they established Geldbach Polska in Mysłowice.

Polish branch of Geldbach, has been dealing with bulk distribution of steel fittings for piping coming from factories whose owners were German headquarters. Professional staff with set ambitions let the enterprise develop rapidly. Being open to customers turned out to be the key element. Our high standards have been confirmed by trust of such companies as, among others, Stocznia Szczecińska (Szczecin Shipyard), which was one of the most important customers to our company at that time.

While the company was growing the board of Geldbach was looking for alternative development paths. In 2009 the board made a historic decision to buy Inwit Armatura in Ksawerów, an acknowledged Polish producer of flanges. A unique blend of production and distribution has been made. Investment in Invit let us broaden the variety of untypical products available to our customers and made the production and processing of the products much shorter, which was a key need of our customers.

Our core business is production, distribution and delivery completion of steel flanges and fittings for piping to warehouses and installation companies. Currently our High Bay Warehouse in Mysłowice has about 3000 different products in stock. All of them are in European, American and German standards. Its storage capacity is about 2500 palette places. It provides our customers with a wide scope of available products “on the spot” and a possibility to produce specially requested products in a short time.
